  • Finance Manager

    Location: Touws River Offer: Date: 05 October 2016 Contract: Permanent


    Responsible for all aspects of CTE‘s financial management and record keeping up to statutory accounts, including monthly management accounts. The role will also manage the smooth running of the office, including any service contracts and office purchasing requirements.


    • Direct and coordinate the company’s financial planning and budget management functions
    • Develop, implement and manage systems and procedures to ensure integrity of accounting information and safe custody of assets, including procedures to detect and eliminate fraud or theft of company property
    • Produce monthly operating results against budget including narratives on budget variances and recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance of departments
    • Provide daily supervision, monitoring, maintenance and control of: sales and purchase ledgers, asset register, company debt collection and credit control, expense accounts, bank reconciliations, etc.
    • Provide on-going leadership and direction to direct reporting staff including conducting annual performance appraisals and recruitment as and when necessary
    • As part of CTE’s “Core Management” team, participate fully in developing strategic plans to improve operational performance, reduce costs and increase profitability
    • 5 Years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
    • A professional affiliation and management experience will be an advantage
